How to Use Print for Figma Plugin

Follow this workflow to install the plugin, configure CMYK colour, bleed, and crop marks, then export a press-ready PDF your print shop will accept without revisions.

1. Install the plugin

Visit the Figma Community listing and click Install. Once installed, right-click inside Figma and choose Plugins - Print for Figma.

2. Select the frames you want to export

Highlight the frames, pages, or components you intend to export. The plugin can batch process multiple selections, so you can export entire campaigns in one run.

3. Configure print-ready settings

  • Enable CMYK colour and choose the ICC profile your printer provided.
  • Turn on Bleed & crop marks and set your preferred measurement.
  • Pick an export format such as PDF/X-1a, TIFF, or high-resolution PNG.
  • Use the Preflight checker to spot low-resolution images or missing fonts.

4. Export and deliver to your printer

Click Export to download your file. Share it as-is with your print shop or upload to a print-on-demand platform. The exported PDF includes embedded fonts, CMYK profiles, and bleed data so it passes preflight checks instantly.
